This match is between a vastly improving junior, icc handle=Kronus and myself(Alan Llewellyn). Nxc6 bxc6 {This turns out well for Kronus but is it better than Bxc6- he gains a more centralised pawn but a7 is weakened, also to his plus is the defence of the d5 square but isnt the diagonal also weakened-there seem pluses and minuses for this move for both sides.} 11. Anyway, in chess you should always respect your opponents abilities, I guess, because in friendlies, Kronus beats me almost always, he has lost some respect. But unlike him I save all my energy for competitive games, so I play very strongly when I use a physical board as I do in these Grand Prix games.} 1. c4 d6 2.
